The big one

Rumah Wan is where the whole family fits. Downstairs there is a double-height living hall, a full kitchen and a bedroom with two queen beds; upstairs, a wide loteng runs the length of the house with four more queens under the singgora roof — six queen beds in all, a sleepover on a grand kampung scale.

It is the natural pick for extended families, reunions and group gatherings. Fire up the BBQ drum on the verandah, take turns in the infinity pool, and end the night with everyone talking under one roof, the way it used to be.

Rumah Wan sleeps up to fifteen, and a folded mattress can be added on request. The pool and outdoor areas are shared with Rumah Opah — coming with an even bigger group? Book both houses together and the compound takes sixteen and more.
